Harley is definitely on outdrives.. Having met the owner a few times & witnessing his antics around weymouth /Portland area. I'd be confident the sinking was due to human error sadly!

There must be two Paul.. This one is definitely a 40, with outdrives. I used to walk past it to get to my boat.. As said earlier its also the same boat which hit weymouth bridge last summer & tore off its radome/aerials, damaged the arch etc etc

I heard today that the owner is frantically searching for another boat... He was actually living on Harley!

Such a pity, she used to be a nice boat This is/was the boat which struck Weymouth town bridge last year around this time! (Videos of it went viral). Before that incident, the owner also managed to fill his domestic water tank with diesel!

From your description I would throw in a cheeky offer of 4k and go from there! There's gonna be so many unknowns to overcome, admittedly if you can do all the repair works yourself you could get a cheap boat. If you've got to start paying people then the costs could rocket! The current owner...

I'd say it was extra engine weight and I bet those volvo duo prop legs are heavier than the mercruiser alphas the boat probably had originally

Possibly bussells chandlery, I know they used to rig yacht masts etc etc

Yep two fitted. One in cabin & one in cockpit. Original fitment to the boat but they still appear to work after 16 years!
