Thanks all - and many thanks for the generous offer, but I'm happy for them to go to someone else - I think I'll start again as I want a few plugs so probably prudent to use something currently being made.
Apologies for the slow response but I managed to get myself locked out of being able to...
Failed to google it.
Says D11 - plug and BD 600 on it.
Google has failed me.
I've like to buy a couple more plugs
Any pointers appreciated.
Thanks
And this is the socket (with cover on)
Lots of advice above - and yes I would go for 4G. You mentioned video conferencing at one point in which case I'd always prefer to be cabled to a 4g router rather than hotspotting off a phone. The added latency of that extra hop just seems to reach a point where video conferencing is awkward...
I often go through little sound in a 2m draft yacht - as its shorter can be less overfalls in the right conditions than Jack sound. As said above a bit of care needed especially at low water as there are a couple of rocks in the middle on the N side and another if you turn to the W too sharply...
I suspect you will find an organisation like Carlsberg have done their homework and can point you at (semi) reputable references that back up their claims at least sufficiently to keep advertising standards happy who lets face it are not going to be interested in the detail of scientific...

Any clues welcome
Thanks
The marina will not welcome you. And depending where you are coming from police in Carmarthen and on the Cleddau bridge have been stopping vehicles and turning them around if their journeys are not deemed essential
Rudders and Lawrenny yacht station both have commercial moorings to rent.
Agree that Vance at Llanion would be your best bet if you want to be ashore (easiest / cheapest) has a travel hoist.
Both the others can lift and store as well
You'll have to do your own sums on relative costs...
I like Ubiquiti kit - we use a lot of it for a community wifi scheme round here - though not completely trivial to setup if you aren't used to networks.
I have tried various devices on the boat. Generally you want an Omni aerial - though I suppose if you were always in a fixed birth and it was...
I assume its not possible to reverse the wichard snap shackle by using a small turning block in front of it to work the trip line?
That way the whole lot would spring away from skiier. Not sure what else is involved in this setup though so maybe non starter
