@Ramsey and I are messaging separately at the moment and I'm trying to assist him based on my experience of doing the same thing recently. I'll chip in when I have something to add.

Buying a VAT unpaid boat in Croatia

Sure, no bother. I don't seem to be able to pm you maybe because you're new on here. I don't want to post my email address for obvious reasons.

    Tepai payment help please.

Showing paid this morning. Looks like it was a problem with Bank of Ireland.

    Tepai payment help please.

Thanks. I sent it again via Revolut using the 20 digit number so, if you're right, I guess it will fail again in which case I'll just go to the post office and pay it.

    Tepai payment help please.

Which numbers do you mean. I thought the code was a 20 digit with numbers only?

    Tepai payment help please.

I entered Greece on 02 May and paid the tepai by bank transfer the day before. Today I looked at my bank account and see the money has come back. Before I try again does anyone know if I can pay by card or have a link for a card payment facility. Thanks.

Corinth Canal reopening 01 May 2024

We left Galaxidi around 06.30 and we were admitted to the Canal almost immediately on arrival at 12.00. Huge work done over the winter and it looks like a lot more planned. We're anchored east of Pireaus in Ormos Varis and ashore enjoying a cold Mythos.

    Sunsaiĺ Yacht Brokerage, Split Croatia

The boat I bought was ex charter but ownership had reverted to the private owner at the end of last year. Pricing was down to the owner rather than Sunsail. Cosmetically the boat was "as new" internally and outside the wear and tear was mainly down to long hot summers and wet winters...

    Sunsaiĺ Yacht Brokerage, Split Croatia

As some of you will know I've been less than complimentary about yacht brokers in the past, all based on actual personal experience. I think it only fair then, to recount a very satisfactory, recent experience. I bought a boat through the Sunsail Brokerage based in Agana marina about 30 Km...

    Anybody familiar with Montenegro/Albania coast?

Thanks. I think that relates to the fuel station in the marina where I am but it's closed - a new company taking over but it won't open for another 20 days. I checked with the agent here and there's no tanker delivery facility.

    Anybody familiar with Montenegro/Albania coast?

I'm currently in Bar, Montenegro heading south towards Corfu. The advertised fuel station in the marina is closed and there's no tanker service. I have more than enough fuel to get to Durres where I planned to check-in to Albania but they've no fuel station there and getting tanker delivery...

    Navionics and Raymarine

My son, who must have got his technical skills from his mother, arrived last night. This morning, following this youtube video, he transferred routes from Navionics mobile to the expired chart cards on the Axiom 9. The chart card subscription on the plotter is expired more than 5 years so...

Good money then especially if you didn't have to pay for accommodation and limited opportunities for going on the piss.

£5,000 was half the price of a family home in Dublin City in 1977. You must have been a wealthy young man.

Has anybody dealt with Conso Shop, French Riviera

I ordered 2 x engine service kits from this company. I emailed to tell them which days I would be at the boat in Croatia and they duly arranged delivery from France accordingly.
