    Have finally worked out how to post photos of 'Patience', the ferro cement bawley that I am trying to trace the owner of. Images show how she was when I found her, and once we had got her watertight and upright, also a photo from the original owner stephen marshall.

    2' at the base seems very big for a mast of 100ft. The main mast on Aile Blanche (1939 C & N) was 102ft long and the base around 16" across.     Yawl Mizzen mast offsets?

    i used to teach sailing on St.Marys in the Scillies, in drascombe dabbers, these had offset mizzen masts and also offset sheeting points. they sailed fine for a small boat. But you often had to ease the sheet while tacking else they would just sit head to wind. Hope this helps.
