Just been reading about Robinson on the WBF. Mostly about his other yacht, but had no idea that Mirelle and Walkabout were sisterships.

Seriously concerned about the rudder. The stock looks spindly and weak, def not original. Otherwise, how are the sails? The jib has a furler, so make sure that turns freely, esp the top bit. Out of interest, what did you pay for it?

I would be realy surprised if dropping the injector caused probs. Likely elswhere.

Might try parts4engines, they do some stuff for Yanmar. Personally, I would fit a fresh one, not reuse.

Local friend was in the cockpit locker of his Ocean Lord. The locker lid came down, and latched.. No phone and alone. By feel, he eventually removed the panel for access to the engine (screwed in place) and just wriggled past the engine and out via the normal access hatch. Over an hour.

Just musing, but if a thick cable it might be a drive unit, rather than generating current or pulses.
