Yanmay were clear that should not FAME in those engines at all. I guess/assume they don't want to spend money checking everything to the nth degree in a safety critical component?
Ps have never had diesel bug. Don't use biocide. I remove a small quantity of water from the diesel tank rarely, with a Peela. That's me hexed myself for bug now!

Idly wondering how they are getting water? Watermaker? Collecting rain? Surely would be too much to start with the required quantity, especially as exercising ?
I put the whole unit inside a cockpit locker as I was sick of kicking it, or the mainsheet wrapping around it. Only needs to be open near land, generally. Sealed the hole in the cockpit side with a bit of plastic nicked from the weans.
