I recently heard this (no indication as to it's veracity) "Lithium battery packs deteriorate quicker when stored at a full charge. They last the longest when they're stored at around 30-50% state of charge." Does anyone know if it's true or myth?

I've just had a few days away in Lulworth and Portland. I needed fuel, as I hadn't put any in since July 2019 in Lymington which cost an eye watering 187.5p/L. This year, Portland marina were charging 172p/L and Quayside Fuels (bowser) in Weymouth was 145p/L. The tanks took 200 Liters ! Ouch...
