The buoys are in the 2023 positions and the Trinity House survey hasn't taken place yet, so it will be a few weeks before the buoys are moved.

As has been previously advised by ECP, the buoys are in position for 2023, so some photos have been taken today 27th March 2023 at close to LW although we are past spring tides. The Harwich tide gauge read around 1m above CD.

This photo was taken early today February 22nd at Low Water Springs with the Harwich tide gauge showing 0.2m above CD.
The new buoyage for 2023 has not yet been determined by Trinity House and may not even use this channel.
It's probably best to check with the Harbourmaster John...
These photos were taken at low water 5th December with the Harwich tide gauge reading 0.73 above CD.
John White, the harbour master, has commented that as predicted the present channel is now closing up.

Here are the aerial photos and a small video of the Ore entrance taken early this morning 18th April 2022 at Low Water Spring tide. Harwich tide gauge reading 0.1m.

The buoys have been moved to their 2022 positions as shown here on April 8th 2022. They were taken at low water neaps 1.25m min above CD.
I will repeat these at the next spring tide to show more of the knolls and hopefully the bar.

I took these photos on the 26th Feb at low water, with the Harwich tide gauge reading 0.6m above chart datum.
John White, the Harbour Master, advises that the entrance will be surveyed soon. He says the existing channel is narrower and 'S 'shaped compared to last year.

The Harwich tide gauge was reading 0.05m which is about as low as it will get for a while.

A little amateur video of our socially-distanced group sail to Shotley Marina, then three Moodys (2 x M27 and M31) plus a Vancouver ventured on to Tollesbury, Bradwell and Brightlingsea last August.

Here is the Ore entrance video at LWS +1hr.
The buoys have been positioned for 2019 and have apparently been sited around 400m North of last year's positions.
Please do not use for navigation but refer to the chartlet soon to be released.
