Deben entrance 2023

Hi All,

This photo was taken early today February 22nd at Low Water Springs with the Harwich tide gauge showing 0.2m above CD.

The new buoyage for 2023 has not yet been determined by Trinity House and may not even use this channel.

It's probably best to check with the Harbourmaster John White if you are considering entering the Deben in the near future.

Of course it could all change again after a couple of storms....

Last year there was an excellent drone film of the entrance. Any chance of this happening again

Thinking of going into the Deben early April - when is it likely to be surveyed and charted?

It has already been surveyed. Decisions on buoy positions still undecided as of a couple of days ago. I would think/hope that all including the chartlet will be sorted by the time you want to go there.
