Is he still around? Not seen him here for a while so assumed he'd hung up his boots, but just been given a book of his published 2023 on South Brittany.
Just nosing about online to see how much Bavaria 49s were selling for these days, and stumbled across this. You need to look at the gallery. Made me chuckle.
Bavaria 49 for sale
Bought for my boat, but on fitting found it was too big (I needed the compact bowl).
No packaging, but has the instructions and stickers still.
£120. Collection Oxford, or may be able to deliver to Portsmouth, Dartmouth, or Truro over the next week or so.
Never used as too heavy for us. Cut it in half, and you have a pair of 11.5m warps.
Price from Jimmy Green is £211.60
I'm asking £125.00
Collection from Oxford (or possibly Rutland next weekend or Gosport after that by arrangement).
In case anyone is interested, I've just successfully managed to put new batteries in my Winchrite. Reasonably easy of you can solder. Took about an hour.
Got the new batteries off ebay for about £35.
Batteries are well out of date but is still flashes as it should when you push the test button, so batteries are not dead. Replacement batteries are about £175 I believe.
£75, collection near Oxford.
I have 5 large blue Anchor fenders for sale. 4 are 80x20, the 5th is 76x23.
All in very good condition and the rubber is still soft.
£75 for the lot. Collect Oxford, or maybe Gosport a week next Friday.

I currently have a shortlist of the following models (don't want to spent any more than £100...
Seen photos posted on Facebook of a Rassy on the rocks in Poole and boats toppled over like dominos in Hamble.
Here in Oxfordshire we had trees down and garden furniture flying.
Best check your boat if it's anywhere between Poole and Chichester.
Am I right in saying that you no longer need to take a covid test before travelling to France now?
Brittany Ferries website is woefully out of date.
I've looked at various other site (Eurostar, Le Shuttle, Easyjet, etc.) and they all say that it's no longer necessary.
Can anyone who's used...
